Theme for 2011 - Homelessness
Sat, Oct 15 -- Intro to Homelessness at Wildfire We have something super-special planned for this Wildfire gathering....instead of our usual worship time, Stephen Pradarelli (dad of Emma and Abby Pradarelli and a leader of Vineyard Church’s Hands on Faith ministry) will lead an interactive discussion on what homelessness is, who’s affected by it, why it should matter to us and what kinds of things Wildfire will be doing to bless the people in our community who are homeless. Fri, Oct 21 -- Awesome Autumn Party at the Shelter House Wildfire kids are invited to take part in a “Awesome Autumn Party” from 7-8:30 p.m. as part of a Vineyard Hands on Faith activity at the Iowa City Shelter House, 429 Southgate Avenue. Sugar cookies, games and a craft for families and other guests will be provided -- all you need to do is show up! This will be a whole lot of fun and is a great way to serve our community. Grab a friend and come!
